Build outside of the box with The Un-Block!

It seems all children have an insatiable appetite to create and imagine that can only be cured through certain toys, such as building blocks. Unfortunately, those blocks aren’t made to grow with the imagination of the child as they transition from a kid into a pre-teen or even an adult. I know for myself, playing with my kiddo’s and their building blocks is fun, but I  find myself wishing there was an older or even adult version that would really challenge my mind! 

Thankfully another family had just the same quam and decided to do something about it! Thus The Un-Block from Aha! Concepts, LLC was created! The Un-Block is a revolutionary, interlocking, building block system that allows you to create the most imaginative of creations with out the boundaries of regular building blocks.

The Un-Block is geared towards kids ages 7-105 and is proudly hand-made in the USA from the finest Ashe wood. Each block has special grooves that fit patent-pending connectors that make it possible to even move your entire creation and keep it intact! Un-Blocks allow you to create amazing building block fetes such as huge intricate towers, animals or even robots while simultaneously stimulating the right and left sides of your brain! They also help promote sensory exploration, improves gross motor skills,  hand/eye coordination, analytical functioning, reasoning and problem solving skills!

We were sent a few Un-Blocks to test out and had a blast with them! My kids (3 and 1.5) are bit young to understand how to use them properly, but still had a blast playing with them. My husband and I however, had a great time seeing what we could come up with.  The interlocking connectors really make whatever you’re building feel super stable and we were easily able to pick up and move our creation with out it falling apart.  These connectors seems to be how the blocks stay so stable, since the connectors help you latch each block together.

There really are endless possibilities with The Un-Block, it just depends on how many you have to build with. Aha! Concepts, LLC currently offers The Un-Block in 3 different set sizes, 16 piece ($17.25), 50 piece ( $38.80), and 110 piece ($71.25). Personally,  I recommend purchasing at least the 50 piece for creating a medium sized creation. All in all I give The Un-Block a big Fairy A+!

The Un-Block solves this problem by interconnecting pieces that stay in place even if you pick up the structure and move it. Using a connector between each block placed, they are solidly connected. Un-Blocks come in many package sizes, from 16-150 pieces. I like these. Un-Block and Good idea are synonymous!
